# MC Community Services

> MC Community Services is a licensed Mental Health Agency in Lincoln, Maine, providing behavioral health and therapy services to children, adults, and families since 2009. The locally owned agency delivers three MaineCare-funded programs: Section 28 behavioral health support for children and Section 65 outpatient therapy and clinical assessments across Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington Counties, plus Section 17 in-home community support for adults across Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties. All clinical work is overseen by Clinical Director Joanna Preble, LCSW, LADC, CCS.

- [Outpatient Therapy & Counseling (Section 65)](https://mccommunityservices.com/services/section-65): MaineCare Section 65 outpatient therapy, counseling, and clinical assessments for children and teens (ages 6–17), adults, and families in the Lincoln, Maine area. Helps with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and substance use. Includes individual therapy, diagnostic assessments, and functional/adaptive assessments. In-person at the Lincoln office and telehealth statewide for eligible MaineCare members. A referral is required to begin services.
- [Adult In-Home & Community Support (Section 17)](https://mccommunityservices.com/services/section-17): MaineCare Section 17 community support for adults 18 and older with serious and persistent mental illness whose needs go beyond outpatient care alone. Includes Daily Living Support Services (DLS) — scheduled in-home help with routines, skills, and stability — and Community Integration Services (CIS) — outreach to connect adults with housing, care, and community life. Delivered in the home or community by MHRT-credentialed staff across Penobscot and Piscataquis counties. A referral is required to begin services.

## Service Area

In-person services are provided from the Lincoln, Maine office to the greater Lincoln area — including Lincoln, Lee, Mattawamkeag, Chester, West Enfield, Medway, Millinocket, East Millinocket, Old Town, Burlington, Passadumkeag, Winn, Woodville, and Danforth — and the surrounding communities across Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington Counties. Section 65 telehealth is available statewide for eligible MaineCare members. (Section 17 adult services cover Penobscot and Piscataquis counties.)
