MC Community Services provides three MaineCare-funded behavioral health programs for children, families, and adults across Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties — built and delivered by a local team that has served the greater Lincoln area since 2009.
Local hands. Real care.
MC Community Services has been part of the greater Lincoln area since 2009. We are locally owned, locally operated, and staffed by people who live where you live.
Our work is built on real relationships — with the families we serve, with the schools where our Behavioral Health Professionals show up every week, with the pediatricians, primary care providers, and clinical teams who share members’ care. We know the local providers because they’re our neighbors. We know the schools because our team is there.
What we do takes three forms, each described below: skill-building for children and youth, therapy and assessments across the age range, and community-based support for adults. Each program is its own commitment, and each is delivered by the same local team.
Section 28 Adaptive Skills Training
Community-based skill-building for children and youth under 21 with developmental challenges. A trained Behavioral Health Professional works alongside your child at home, school, or in the community — building the everyday skills that matter most.

Individual therapy for adults, teens, and children. Comprehensive diagnostic and functional assessments. A licensed clinical team that listens, evaluates, and helps you understand what’s going on — in person at our Lincoln office or by telehealth statewide.
Learn about Therapy & Assessments βSection 17 Community Supports
Community-based behavioral health support for adults living with ongoing mental health needs. A trained behavioral health professional comes to your home or community to help with daily living, community connections, and the practical work of staying stable.
Learn about Adult Support βWe serve children, families, and adults across Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties. In-person services in the greater Lincoln area; telehealth available statewide for eligible MaineCare members. (Adult Support under Section 17 covers Penobscot and Piscataquis counties.)
Whether you’re exploring services for yourself, your child, or someone you care for — or you’re a provider considering a referral — we’d like to hear from you.
